Position Overview

Engineering support for the ESS Ground Resilient Integration & Framework for Operational NC3 (GRIFFON) Ground Integration & Framework (GIF) and Systems of Systems Integration (SoSI) contract. During the period of performance, assist team in demonstrating key capabilities and showing progress towards meeting Ground Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T).

Primary Responsibilities


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and co-lead the identification and demonstration of digital tools for the execution of GRIFFON tasks during the 18-month prototype demonstration period. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of a digital engineering master plan, including digital twins, to support risk reduction of the system level verification activities.

  • Co-lead the identification and demonstration of digital tools for the execution of GRIFFON tasks during the 18-month prototype demonstration period.
  • Support the development of a digital engineering master plan, including digital twins, to support risk reduction of the system level verification activities.
  • Provide system engineering support with NC3 mission, International Partner, protected SATCOM, XDR waveform, and/or AEHF User terminal experience to create, update, deliver GRIFFON engineering artifacts.
  • Identify and analyze key system-level trades across all segments to define ESS top level architecture.
  • Identify, plan, and implement test, analysis, and integration campaigns to verify internal and external interfaces.
  • Identify and define impact assessments, to include cost, schedule and performance, for all changes to the technical baseline.
  • Develop and coordinate a system requirements verification and sell-off plan.
  • Experience with Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) desired.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • MILSATCOM experience, to include Milstar and AEHF.
  • Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering to include Cameo Systems Modeler.


Education/
Experience:

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.

8+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on digital engineering, digital twins, and risk reduction activities.

Experience with NC3 mission, International Partner, protected SATCOM, XDR waveform, and/or AEHF User terminal.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
