Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional with stellar record of circuit innovation to join the CTO office of Advanced Solution Group located in located in Phoenix, Arizona or Richardson, Texas. As a senior director, you will have the opportunity to impact the next generation analog/mixed signal innovations across the company. You will be working with a world class team of professionals in areas ranging from power management circuits to RF transceivers and make a direct impact to the company’s future.

Performance Objectives:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

• Definition, modeling, design, and verification of highly integrated power-management ICs such as dc-dc converters, sensor interface circuits, linear regulators, and other types of analog/mixed-signal ASICs.
• Implement full-featured behavioral models of complex analog/mixed-signal ICs.
• Lead a group of designers to innovate new circuit topologies for digital controllers, analog BIST circuits, new power management topologies.
• Develop analog methodology, analog best practices for wide range of products. Drive the implementation of methodologies across multiple business units.
• Drive innovative power management architectures, perform system analysis and provide circuit implementation solutions.
• Develop process performance metrics and establish benchmarks. Provide guidance to multiple business units on circuit implementation for multiple power management and RF products.
• Interface with test, product, and applications engineering to drive the design to a successful production release.
• Provide senior technical leadership including IC specification, project planning, design team management, and layout supervision
• Close collaboration with system architects and product definers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical engineering is required. PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Proven record of circuit innovation, new concept development, implementation and successful production.
• Proven record of leading a large group of analog/digital circuit designers.
• Product design experience in power management circuits like DC/DC converters and LDO’s is a must.
• Experience is ADC/DAC design, Clock circuits like PLL’s, Oscillators is preferred.
• Effectively communicate ideas and ability to work with large teams.
