AECOM is seeking a talented Senior Traffic Engineer based in Fort Lauderdale or Coral Gables, Florida. Will be the lead senior traffic engineer (signal systems) for traffic signal systems, ATMS deployments, and adaptive traffic control systems for AECOM FDOT and municipal clients. And will be responsible for a multi-year project with Miami-Dade County

Minimum:

• BS Civil engineering or related field
• 6 plus years of traffic signal systems experience

Preferred:

• Experience in active arterial management
• Experience with, ATSPMs
• Improvising TMC traffic signal operations with performance metrics,
• Congestion management, and inter-agency coordination
• Familiarity with BRT, 2070 traffic signal controllers and traffic cabinets will be a plus.
• Good communication skills, ability to lead and guide, develop/refine SOGs,
• experience working in multi-team environment
• Professional engineering license
