YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A SENIOR VET TECH

As a Senior Vet Tech, you are a huge support to our veterinarians as you ensure top-quality animal care. Each day, you perform a wide range of tasks, such as setting up for appointments, taking vitals, assisting with surgeries, taking X-rays, administering medication, and keeping accurate medical records for our patients. As you perform these activities, you keep a close eye on the animals so that you can alert the vet about any usual behavior they display.

You also look out for our clients, answering their questions and educating them about the care their pets need. A go-getter, you eagerly tackle any task you are assigned, whether it's helping keep the clinic clean, maintaining the equipment, supervising the kennel, or overseeing the staff. In short, you are invaluable to us, and you help our clinic run smoothly. Your passion for animal care shines through in all you do!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A SENIOR VET TECH

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience as a veterinary technician
• Knowledge about medical procedures and animal handling
• Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Avimark
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, and every other Saturday, 8:30 am - 2:00 pm.
