Your areas of responsibility:

The Fluid Service Technician is responsible for the care and maintenance of our client’s industrial fluids including coolants, oils, wash and waste fluids.

• This may include sampling, testing, fluid additions, changing, and care of any additional fluid related equipment such as filter systems or waste systems.
• The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, mechanically inclined, good at managing own time and can follow procedures and policies.
• Check and record system fluid levels. Collect data and samples from industrial fluid systems
• Conduct laboratory testing per procedures & making corrections based on testing results
• Changing hydraulic oil filters according to established procedures
• Input and communicate data including generating daily reports
• Material handling, lift truck operation loading and dumping
• Participating in daily communication meetings with Supervisor and communicate effectively with the site leader and customer
• Following procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements.
• Make adjustments to fluid systems based on established procedures, maintaining the proper fluid level on each system at the customer site
• Clean outs of coolant and washer systems: draining the fluid sump, remove any sludge/chips contamination, power wash the fluid tank, recharge system with Fresh solution or premixed fluid.
• Maintaining inventory of chemical products and weekly record keeping
• Adhere to all site and company safety regulations, policies and procedures
• Day Shift Schedule:7:00AM - 3:00PM, Mon - Fri

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting OR production / warehouse / machine shop environment
• Lift-truck experience a definite plus
• Good communication skills (oral and written), customer service, and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an industrial environment
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset
• Stand for the majority of a shift for approximately 4-8 hours with moderate to considerable physical activity
• Lift a minimum of 50-lbs as needed
• Bend/crouch/stoop and dip on a regular basis in order to obtain samples
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge/ability to navigate the internet & email
