Job description
- Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
SUMMARY:
- Fill merchandise orders in order to accurately deliver supplies to resort departments.
- Help unload trucks make deliveries and sort incoming inventory. Obtain signatures and file signed forms in the commissary.
- Follow all safety procedures and practices in order to maintain a safe working environment for co-workers, self and resort.
- Perform light cleaning and maintenance within the commissary.
- Operate forklift pallet jack and drive the delivery truck as assigned.
- Assist in taking monthly physical inventory in order to assure accuracy and thoroughness.
- Occasional trips to Salt Lake Valley.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
- Basic competency in reading, writing, speaking, and interpersonal relations. Simple arithmetic skills and the ability to organize paperwork.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks while keeping work safety in mind.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- The shift is typically 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
- Shifts can vary, maybe an early morning or late evening, weekends, and/or holidays depending on business levels.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
- Must demonstrate the ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
- May experience unusual stress from continual work with the public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
- Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult. Frequent exposure to noise.
- Warehouse and loading dock environment, with exposure to various safety hazards.
- Work requires continuous lifting, carrying and moving of various supplies up to 100 lbs.
- Occasional contact with guests.
- Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
