We are seeking an experienced Shop/Maintenance Technician to join our team in Claymont, Delaware!

AWR Commercial Window Company specializes in the repair and restoration of metal and wood windows and doors. We provide repair, preservation, and restoration services to residential, commercial, municipal, churches, cathedrals, historic, and landmark buildings throughout the United States.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay range is dependent on experience.

Shop/Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Must have experience and knowledge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment in a production, assembly, or metal shop operation
• Perform a wide rage of repair tasks around the shop
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion for up to 8 hours
• Possess a valid driver license and have reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent

Shop/Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Responsible for keeping the workshop operating smoothly
• Reporting and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen
• Performing routine maintenance around the shop
• Change oil in a compressor
• Maintaining and Polishing sand blast cabinets
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
• Follows company policies, procedures, and safety standards in a timely manner
• Reporting any potential safety hazards
• Other related duties as assigned by management
