Position: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite / Hybrid)

Duration: Full Time

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

Experience Required

1. Should be very strong in gathering and Analyzing the metrics from required operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding

2. Resource should have good coding skills in any of these languages Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby and JavaScript

3. Should be very knowledgeable in creating dashboards using KQL(Kusto Query Language) queries in Azure cloud.

4. Experience working with Grafana Monitoring tool

5. Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement

6. Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives

7. Knowledge is using any version control tools like GitHub or any.

8. Knowledge in containers, dockers and Kubernetes is an added advantage

9. Should be very proficient in creating varieties of Dashboards to monitor

• General systems uptimes

• System performance

• Four Golden signals of SRE – Latency, Traffic, Errors and Saturation

• Incident and outage management

• Systems and application monitoring

• Change Management

• Capacity planning

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $86,314.42 - $120,229.60 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• North Chicago, IL 60044: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Azure: 1 year (Preferred)
• AWS: 1 year (Preferred)
• Kubernetes: 1 year (Preferred)
