Social Media Coordinator

You’ll be a part of a team that loves sports! You will be allowed opportunities each and every day to directly impacts the DreamSeat, Zipchair & Zipchair Gaming brands and how key influencers, businesses and consumers interact with us.

We are a small but rapidly expanding team that gets no greater pleasure than someone sharing and engaging with our content. We work with top tier Athletes, Professional Teams and dedicated Fans. We know we are really lucky to call what we do “work” but that doesn’t mean that we don’t work hard. The marketing teams responsibilities greatly impacts our company’s goals and because of that, everything that we do has highly visibility to senior management. We give a voice to the brand.

About the Social Media Associates role: We’re looking for a stellar social media and partnerships manager to excite the Dreamseat, Zipchair & Zipchair Gaming communities. You will have the opportunity to innovate new ways to engage our most active consumers and clients, further expanding the growth of our brands. You will play a key role in shaping how we approach building our social media platforms and partnerships for our brand while interacting with sports fans across the country.

We are seeking someone we can trust to be an enthusiastic advocate for both the DreamSeat and Zipchair brands. Someone who understands not just the sports and gaming communities but the relationships we have with our current Partners and Customers. If you are a sports fan who keeps up with the world of sports news, loves to engage with fans across all major sports including college, we would love to hear from you.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • You will report to the Art & Social Media Director along with the Director of Marketing
  • You will be a sports fan. We are big fans of Esports, collegiate, professional sports. Every post, interaction and partnership we build is to assist a potential consumer in eventually becoming a Zipchair Customer, or building awareness for DreamSeat
  • You will need to manage multiple social media accounts across multiple platforms
  • You will assist with logistical and administrative items, so organization is a necessity
  • Your day-to-day activities will always keep you learning about our consumer bases mindset
  • Social media and consumer interactions do not follow a typical work schedule. Being available to monitor, reply and post during off working hours is a must.

Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Monitor online conversations about the brands and engaging when appropriate using Sprout Social
  • Fluent and up to date on everything that is happening in the sports world and able to jump into and create the conversation
  • You will be in contact with affiliates, bloggers and influencers on a daily basis, so a great commitment to follow-up is a must-have skill
  • Respond to direct messages on all platforms
  • You will monitor our social media networks, and be expected to know what is happening in the world of sports and gaming
  • Stay on top of social media trends and innovations
  • Take lead on Social Media product launch based on marketing plan
  • Create detailed reports weekly, provide insight into growth and be accountable for the data

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in online community development, communications, customer support or social marketing
  • Skilled writer / communicator
  • Have strong communication and relationship building skills to get to know influencers, affiliates and other key community members you will be in touch with frequently
  • Have a good working knowledge of Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and emerging social media channels
  • Skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Experience participating in and/or moderating social media discussions
  • Superb organizational skills and ability to maintain several deliverables at once under changing and tight deadlines
  • Team player who can play a leadership role on cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility and the willingness to work outside of normal work hours (nights, weekends and holidays)
  • Self-motivated, and ability to work independently or remotely.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow the brand
  • Have a passion for Sports
  • A great sense of humor and pleasing working mentality
  • Since you are asked to work odd hours, in office hours will be flexible and a schedule will be discussed and agreed upon

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,500.00 - $40,000.00 per year
