We are looking for a fun, energetic, career-driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted communities both virtually and in person. The goal of this position is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement, create community, drive website traffic, and increase revenue by strategically utilizing all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. Our new Social Media Specialist should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging to the users on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers. The person in this position will be the face of our brand and will represent our company across many platforms.

Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and drive business strategies on the web and social media
• Maintain company-wide standards for all social media, including client/customer-facing materials.
• Work with Sales and Creative Team to develop strategies to increase website and Amazon Sales.
• Generate and optimize campaigns across multiple social networks (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, etc.)
• Respond to incoming messages and address online customer comments and questions.
• Develop ideas, scripts, and sets for live video, webinars, and other digital media to drive product interest and sales.
• Will be able to multi-task and complete multiple projects and deliver weekly status reports of progress.
• Assist with planning and organizing advertising campaigns
• Coordinate social media collaborations
• Expert understanding of various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok
• Additional administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Self-starter
• Expert at social media
• Articulate
• Camera friendly! This job involves being in front of the camera- both video and still
• Personality is a must! We're a toy company, and we need someone FUN!
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Quick learner
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Social media account management experience
• Video production experience
• On-air (or video) hosting experience is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.12 - $21.82 per hour

Experience:

• Marketing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Social media management: 4 years (Preferred)
