Solar Installer

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a full-time Solar Installer to join their team. The Solar Installer will work with an
installation team to assemble and install all components of a photovoltaic solar array.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job site for solar installation
• Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment
• Skillfully use power tools, ladders, and other equipment to complete solar installations
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Maintain inventory of equipment
• Take responsibility for personal and electrical safety on the job site by following and enforcing all safety regulations
• Other relevant duties as needed

Qualifications

• Thrives in a team environment
• Portrays a high level of professionalism
• Has a positive and helpful demeanor
• Comfortable climbing ladders, and working on rooftops
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50-75lbs
• Comfortable working long hours in extreme environments (cold, heat)
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Valid state driver’s license

Work environment and Physical demands

• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift 20 lbs
• Comfortable being on a roof.
• Must be comfortable in the elements, which may include a variety of temperatures
• Willingness to learn, grow and always be improving.
• Focus on customer service, consistent production, and meeting project deadlines.
