You'll get to work with a diverse range of students with unique needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Requirements

• Current Special Education TeacherLicense in the state of Massachusetts
• Background Check and Drug Screening
• Fingerprint Screening
• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities, including but not limited to autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and emotional disturbance
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional and behavioral interventions, such as differentiated instruction, universal design for learning (UDL), and positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS)

• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, based on their specific learning goals, strengths, and challenges
• Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, using evidence-based strategies and materials
• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement effective instructional and behavioral interventions, and monitor student progress regularly
