JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Advertising Manager to implement the company’s overall digital and traditional marketing strategy including digital advertising, on-property signage, website, email and more. He/she will also be responsible for assisting in the social media marketing efforts such as, but not limited to, research, strategy, content creation and implementation of emerging forms digital media, social media, and paid online advertising. The successful candidate is someone who is passionate about digital elements, has experience in web content management, email marketing, social media management, analytics implementation, data quality and testing. A highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and stays cutting edge on all the latest trends within the casino and hospitality industry.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Advertising Manager with projects as assigned which may include digital content management, collateral, signage and other traditional advertising mediums.
- Support the Social Media Manager with building, curating content and maintaining all social media platforms, including but not limited to company Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and new/emerging platforms.
- Lead efforts of the planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendar, and tactical plans, ensuring that all social media messages, measurements and content are relevant to target audience.
- On an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all marketing activities, and assets against goals, identify trends and insight, and optimize plan based on these insights.
- Obtain bids and initiate purchases in accordance with company policy. Work with Purchasing and Warehouse on inventory and deliveries of items.
- Ensure SEO and digital properties such as Google, Yelp, Bing, etc are regularly updated with correct information and links, etc.
- Keep current with emerging technologies through digital, website and social avenues. Keep track of latest innovations and recent cutting edge launches in order to identify opportunities.
- Assist media buying company in the developing of digital and online related campaigns including coordination of creative and trafficking deliverables.
- Schedule, manage content creation and publish content while maintaining a consistent presence across all digital channels: desktop sites, mobile sites, onsite digital LCD displays
- Support other key marketing efforts as needed.
- Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented

- Cultivates and maintains relationships with the media and community leaders
- Negotiates radio and television promotions in collaboration with outside media buying service
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in advertising, marketing (or related) field or comparable experience.
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Design is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in SEO and SEM.
- Knowledge and experience in web analytical tool Google Analytics is preferred.
- Experience working in Content Management Systems (Sitecore and WordPress) a plus.
- Critical to this position is knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (Chrome, IE, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.), current web-design trends, techniques and standards, and the ability to research, recommend and apply new technologies as they emerge.
- Must possess a strong passion for creativity and attention to detail and have the ability to translate existing marketing materials to other media outlets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and organizational skills, sound decision making, and analytical capacity.
- Experience with Four Winds Interactive digital signage a plus.
- Experience managing social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, blogs, etc. is essential.
- Knowledge in graphic design utilizing Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge in photography, video production, post-production, and editing in Adobe tools such as Premiere and After Effects is a plus.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Access required
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals
- Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience
- Effective communication and time management skills, along with the ability to forecast time management needs of others is required
- Must be able to speak to the general public and/or groups of individuals
Work Environment:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, as well as on the Casino Floor. On the Casino floor, it is a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
