Newmarket Recreation Department is looking for a dynamic team member to join us as our Splash Pad Manager. This is a great position for someone looking for weekend hours and to gain supervisory experience. We are looking for a team player with great customer service and problem solving abilities. This is a Seasonal position starting late May through August with potential to run into September. Typical schedule is Friday-Monday, with flexibility throughout the week if the right candidate is seeking additional hours.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide customer service to all patrons of the Splash Pad
• Put together Party Packages and ensure optimal party experiences
• Enforcement of Splash Pad rules and regulations
• Training, scheduling and overseeing weekend staff
• Monitor chemical balances and filtration system
• Record levels at expected timeframes
• Ensure Splash Pad facility is clean and safe
• Supervise Rexy’s Café
• Inventory and order concession supplies as needed
• Assist with Camp Activities/Events on Fridays and Mondays
• Promote other Rec Department events and programs

Please note: Must be 18 years old

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
