Sponsor Responsibilities:
1. Find potential future work to bid
2. Lead the bidding process
a. Send bid solicitation to subcontractors and contact subs directly to ensure all scopes are quoted prior to bid day
b. Lead the pre-bid meeting with General Supt’s (spec review, plan review)
c. Gather quotes and put together the final bid
d. Fill out all bid forms and submit on bid day
3. Project Administration:
a. Compile the Project Input (setting up budgets)
b. Submittals – collect, submit and keep a submittal log
c. Setup the Project Subanalysis (spreadsheet for monthly pay quantities allocated to subs)
d. Complete the Project Subanalysis monthly
e. Verify that billing is accurate with all completed quantities before it is finalized
f. Negotiate, document and execute all change orders from the Owner
g. Negotiate and execute change orders for subcontractors when necessary
h. Manage the billing process (complete needed paperwork, submit as early as possible, follow up on timeliness of payment)
i. Collect Sub Invoices and reconcile with Owner Pay Estimate
j. Check Sub Vouchers, ensure full and timely payment to subcontractors
4. Project Leadership
a. Understand the contract and verify that we adhere to it
b. Manage full project schedule – review with schedule consultant and Project Managers monthly
c. Attend Weekly CRCC Schedule Meeting prepared to discuss upcoming work on your projects
d. Attend relevant Project Meetings (virtually is acceptable) to understand issues as they arise
e. Ensure that the project team has a plan to complete the work prior to any applicable deadlines
f. Handle subcontractor issues that cannot be resolved in the field at the PM level (compliance to the schedule and the contract, writing letters…)
g. Handle owner relations issues that cannot be resolved in the field at the PM level (requests for additional time, CMO requests, quoting extra work for CMOs…)
h. Keep COO informed of project issues that need to be resolved
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

- Construction estimating: 3 years (Preferred)
