We are currently looking to fill the position of Sr. 3D SLS Printer Operator with a starting range of $54,000-75,000/year, dependent upon experience, education, and skills. This position requires a full-time onsite presence.

Responsible to manufacture, inspect and qualify 3D-printed parts created at Paragon 28. This is an ISO 13485 manufacturing site producing medical products. The scope includes file receipt, build preparation, scheduling, part finishing, inspection of medical devices. In addition, the Senior 3D SLS Printer Operator executes regular maintenance to the production process. The Senior 3D Printer Operator also aids in new product qualifications (PQ)s with engineering. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize activities in a dynamic environment are key attributes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares builds and maintains the production schedule.
  • Post-process manufactured parts using tools and machinery.
  • Performs quality inspections on manufactured parts.
  • Maintains production equipment and shop environment.
  • Creates Build Documentation including Device History Records.
  • Creates and follows released standard operating procedures.
  • Reduces scrap and improves production process efficiency.
  • Ensures safety standards are met.
  • Keeps production manufacturing space clean and organized.
  • Works with engineering to complete manufacturing builds to bring new products into production.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Associate degree in engineering sciences or other technical discipline.
  • 3 years manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work with manufacturing equipment and quality inspection tools.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse team.
  • Ability to manipulate files and parts in CAD/CAM software.
  • Preferred experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, aerospace).
  • Preferred experience with Additive Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) manufacturing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, Word.
