The Senior Human Resources Generalist assists the HR Director in the development and implementation of HR Generalist workflow strategy and plans and manages the day-to-day activities of the HR Generalist team. The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for leading the Human Resource Generalists in enhancing the work experience for their respective customers and colleagues. They will proactively support all services related to Human Resources and the Employee Work Experience. They are expected to collaborate and strategize with the Human Resource Consultants to improve, among other services: Recruitment, Leadership Development, Retention, Improved Customer Service, Wellness, Employee Recognition, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the HR Generalists, serving as resource on issues and concerns from HR Consultants and provides oversight over the daily workflow of the department.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with client groups and hiring managers.
  • Ensures that the license and certification processes are followed timely including profiling procedures for new hires and transfers.
  • Perform audits and provides support, as necessary, to ensure compliancy with regulatory visits.
  • Assess training needs of the HR Generalist team to ensure that workflow processes are effective.
  • Provides oversight for the planning and execution of NHO while working with the Leadership and Development department.
  • Supports the HR Director with strategy development, staff management, and monitoring of staff productivity.

Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.

Experience:

Required: Three to five years of leading in a supervisory role is required.

  • Ability to make work experience better for colleagues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and handle high volume of emails, telephone calls, and in-person interactions.
  • Able to troubleshoot, identify, quickly solve problems including technical issues in the applicant tracking system (TALEO).
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities and assignment to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point) with strong computer skills.
