Job Summary
This position is responsible for:
1. The business and technical roadmap of our integrated member centric data product
2. General product management (financial oversight, backlog management, data quality, operations and controls, etc.) as well as program/project delivery for their owned product(s) impacts
3. Resource management of product team resources (Data Analysts, System Analysts, Application Architects, etc.)
- Accountable for the overall delivery of a set of integrated, technically sound solutions for their assigned Data Consumption or Data Domain products
- Execute the vision, strategy and Data Consumption or Data Domain product roadmap developed with the Data Portfolio Lead
- Accountable for program / project delivery for their product and upstream domain assets, data quality and operations for the consumption or domain product
- Manage product backlog and prioritize requests in line with product strategy
- Work with data analysts to develop requirements documents and use cases for new product / service features
- Coordinate with DevOps Portfolio Release Lead to ensure all planned releases are integrated into the product release schedule
- Work with Data Delivery Lead (DDL) and data analyst to monitor the status of development projects supporting new features
- Collaborate with Data Delivery Leads to develop project milestones and facilitates development and testing progress against milestones
- Collaborate with data product managers and analytics stakeholders across different BUs in developing new features and ensuring appropriate support
- Manage more stable, mature products and/or applications; limited business criticality; routines processing applications; rare cross-product projects
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree and 5 years of data and analytics experience OR 9 years of data and analytics experience
- 3 years management experience
- Experience in requirements management and/or prototyping
- Experience in integration technologies
- Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools
- Knowledge of data processing environments
- Knowledge of big data and analytical technologies
- Knowledge of Agile project management
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT application technologies and application development platforms and/or languages
- Knowledge of product-specific data architecture
- Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts and/or processes
- SDLC (systems development life cycle) / Iterative / Agile / Scrum development
- Financial acumen
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years resource management experience and/or performance management experience
* Experience in requirements management and roadmap prioritization
* Experience in “Data Story Telling” and/or the ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts or processes into business friendly language
* Experience in managing integration technologies
* Experience in budget oversight >= $750K and/or financial acumen
* Experience in Operational Data Audits & Controls
* Knowledge of product-specific data architecture concepts
* Experience in Jira and Agile Sprint Planning
* Knowledge of Customer 360 terminologies
* Knowledge of Healthcare Insurance key data domains
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field(s)
* Experience leading or creating roadmaps for data products
* Experience with Teradata, Hadoop, Azure
* Knowledge of Customer Service data and/or analytics use cases
