Sr Product Engineer to develop new global products working with our development partners around the world!
Who You Are:
- Superior problem solving skills
- Can envision how the product and manufacturing processes can be developed together and how the product will function in the market
- Strong verbal abilities and analytical skills
- A high level of inquisitiveness over a number of areas; an avid curiosity about how things work
- Ability to see multiple solutions to a problem; stays mentally open rather than prematurely choosing the "best solution"
- Likes to work with your hands and use various methods of prototyping
- Approaches and draws inspiration from a variety of sources
- Has the ability to see solutions in other, sometimes unexpected, places and apply them to product solutions
- Optimistically believes that a solution exists somewhere - just needs to look elsewhere to find it
- Has a broad range of interests and a multidisciplinary point of view
- Appreciation for Industrial Design, Marketing, Finance, Project Management, etc
- A love for exploring new ideas, places, and things outside as well as in work
- Genuine and real passion for creating
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Minimum 5 years work experience within mechanical engineering discipline preferred
Your Future Team:
You will work in our Global Innovation Center in Grand Rapids, MI with other product developers to create, develop, and implement new products. Some travel nationally and internationally is required.
