Over the past 5 years, CIMS has experienced significant growth as a result of its superior technology, people, experience, leadership, and management philosophy.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of homeowner associations. This is a full-time salaried position with hours from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The ideal candidate must be able to multi task, work independently, and strong communication skills are a must. Candidate must be professional, confident, and have good problem- solving skills. Additional responsibilities of the position include:

- Ability to prepare monthly financial statements

- Bank account reconciliations

- Review of peer financial statements

- Balance sheet reconciliations

- Prepare CPA packets

- Budget preparation, entry and review

- Monthly journal entries on an accrual basis

- Board of Director Assistance as it relates to the Financial

- Complete understanding of debits and credits

- Complete understanding of how the balance sheet and income statement relate

Required Qualifications

- Experience in professional HOA management preferred but not required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles

- Organizational and computer skills

- Must be very responsive, have the ability to manage strong personalities

- Ability to work independently, but also must be able to work in a team environment

- Excel experience

- Multi-tasking and detail oriented required

- BS in Accounting preferred

Ideal candidate would earn a base salary of $70,000 adjusted up or down depending upon experience. We offer a very attractive benefits package including Medical and Dental for employee and dependents as well as a 401K plan with match, PTO and vacation.

Position is being filled for our Danville office only.
