Summary: Theprimary purpose of this position is to create and maintain financial records and financial statements. This position reports to the Controller
Essential Functions:
· Coordinates activities in the accounts payable and receivable function.
· Assures that purchasing and receiving documents are properly matched and that vendor invoices and expense vouchers are processed and paid in a timely fashion.
· Ensures that invoices are charged to the proper accounts.
· Monitor Credit Card usage and code expenses.
· Assist with month-end close and post journal entries as needed.
· Performs account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements.
· Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.
· Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
· Makes recommendations and implements accounts payable and receivable processes, including the usage of PCards to pay vendors.
· Assist with initial internal control evaluations.
· Renewal of company vehicle registrations.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Responds to information requests, research and interpret data, and answer accounting and financial questions.
· Maintain records per retention requirements.
· Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
· Other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Required Physical and Environmental Demands:
· Work and move among all departments. Lift up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity to operate personal computers and standard office machines.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities and individuals of all levels within and outside the organization.
- Must have a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, the accrual basis of accounting, organizational auditing, and fixed asset accounting.
· High energy level, comfortable handling multiple tasks in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
· Strong time management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities
· Good reasoning abilities, and sound judgment.
· Resourceful and well-organized.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
