Start date: 7th January 2023 (Food) & 8th January 2023 (Warehouse, Sales & Customer Relations)
WHAT WE OFFER
We have a range of part time contracts available (12 - 30), across various departments.
We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends. All our part time co-workers will receive 1 weekend off in 4.
Due to health & safety you have to be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
FOOD:
As a Food Co-worker, you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work alongside them in the department helping to create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.

Within IKEA Food we have various roles which include:
KITCHEN PORTER/CATERING ASSISTANT
You will be responsible for tasks such as working on the dish, cleaning & then supporting with preparing food.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Restaurant & Swedish Food Market/Bistro - floor and tills, Staff Restaurant, and the Swedish Food Market where you will replenish stock, operate a till and engage with customers
SALES
CUSTOMER RELATIONS:
CUSTOMER ORDER FULFILMENT:
As part of the logistics team in a store, you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery. Your daily duties will be picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery. You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking. You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE:
You will have a combination of administrative work, meeting the customer, preparing for next days delivery and picking and preparing large volumes of orders for in store collection or delivery. This is a physically demanding role which involves manual handling/heavy lifting/condensing of stock/excellent customer service skills/front facing warehouse duties.

- You are competent with IT.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS:
- You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
- Build loyalty by listening to our customers & using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
- You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
