Job description
The Stroke & Sepsis Program Coordinator organizes and oversees the programs within the facility. Assists the Directors with planning and implementation of Stroke & Sepsis education. Responsible for the daily operations of the Stroke & Sepsis programs at all times. Liaison between staff and physicians. Available to staff for problem solving and supervisory issues relating to Stroke Program. On call to the RN staff as needed for consultation & problem solving. Will maintain all required Stroke logs for Primary Stroke accreditation. Will be responsible for organizing necessary meetings and report data up through applicable committees. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum Requirements: Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor's preferred.
Current FL-RN License
Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
Education
Required- Associates or better in Nursing
Licenses & Certifications
Required- C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
- L-FL-RN License
