Summary:

Flatter is hiring a Student/Military Coordinator to provide personnel support for both in-house and exportable Military Sealift Command (MSC) training courses. The in-house training courses will be instructed at the locations listed: MSC Training Center Hampton Roads (TCHR), FT Eustis, VA and the MSC Underway Replenishment Training Center (MUTC), Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story (JEBLC-FS), VA.

Responsibilities:

· In-processing and out-processing all CIVMAR, CONMAR, Government, Active Duty and Reserve military personnel attending training at the MUTC. In this capacity, the Contractor shall:

o Maintain course and student training schedules for all MUTC Courses of Instruction.

o Maintain and update MUTC training course schedules for CIVMAR, CONMAR, Active and Reserve Military personnel attending MUTC Courses of Instruction.

o For the CARTs, they shall ensure all CART members are scheduled for and receive the required training.

o Provide support for the CARTs, the Contractor shall ensure all CART members are scheduled for required training.

· In addition to answering general inquiries, they shall liaison with commands hosting exportable training to ensure their readiness to support the contract trainers.

· Serve as quota control for all MUTC courses, ensuring that all personnel scheduled to attend resident or exportable training are entered into the MSC HRMS database and the in-house MUTC training spreadsheet/database, and assigned a Billet Control Number.

· Muster and graduate students in CeTARS.

· Maintain and update the CANTRAC database for MSC courses of instruction, shall include courses not currently taught at MUTC.

· Maintain a database of CART student(s) and their training status.

· Provide a list of completed CART student Qualifications/Certifications to the N00R Reserve Affairs Office and the COR after training completion.

· Provide administrative course support for CART Reserve student's assigned training at MUTC.

· Responsible for check in and check out of CART students assigned to MUTC.

· Collect, endorse reserve orders, and return endorsed orders to CART students.

· The employee shall be physically located at the MUTC to perform all CART student check in, check out and administrative duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Builds and maintains positive working relationships.

· Possess an understanding of military and civilian ranking structures and protocol matters.

· Effective communicator, both verbally and written.

Education and Experience:

· Five (5) years’ experience, as either a military or civilian, in the area of Navy Active/Reservist’s support for training and mobilizations.

· Knowledge of databases, such as Navy Reserve Readiness Module (NRRM), Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS), Reserve Unit Assignment Document (RUAD).

Security clearance: Secret

Work Location: Government site, FT Eustis, VA

Workdays: Monday – Friday

Work hours: Core hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Travel: As needed to support the mission.
