Job description

The Shorewood School District is hiring part time, seasonal staff to fill positions in our grounds maintenance department. Candidates must have a great attitude and be willing to work outdoors under minimal supervision. Crew members will report directly to the district Lead Groundskeeper. Position start/end dates are flexible and dependent upon candidate availability and district needs. Position for summer crew start June 12th and end August 14th. Applicants must commit to a summer of employment as negotiated upon hire.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Grounds crew members are responsible for general grounds maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Mowing and trimming
- Planting and watering flower beds
- Picking up trash
- Maintenance of athletic fields

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
