Technical Laboratory Supervisor over laboratory testing. Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements
Preferred or Specialized
Education :
Education must be either a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Medical Technology or Associate Degree in Biological, Chemical or MLT (or demonstrate 60 hours as defined by the College of American Pathology) from an accredited School or a U.S. Military Occ. Specialty of Medical Laboratory, or previously qualified before 1995 according to CLIA qualifications which is sufficient to allow certification under one of the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) Certifying Agencies’ examination routes. Must meet Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and College of American Pathology (CAP) requirements to perform highly complex testing.
Certifying Agencies include but are not limited to the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board of Certification (BOC), American Medical Technologist (AMT) Certification, and American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) Board of Registry (ABOR) or U.S Military Laboratory Training Program. As long as these are met, any exam may be taken.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
License(s)/Certifi c ation(s):
Technician Certification (MLT) OR Technologist/Scientist (MT/MLS) Certification
Specialist Certification is preferred (SH, SM, SC, SV, or SBB)
Knowledge/Skills /Abilities :
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
Other:
Equipment to be used includes Laboratory equipment, analytical equipment, processing equipment and personal computers.

Technical Laboratory Supervisor over laboratory testing.
Oversight of the technical staff. Will meet all the responsibilites of a laboratory supervisor including personnel, regulatory, testing and quality.
