• Supervisor, Revenue Recovery Reconciliation (Remote)
Job description
The Supervisor of Revenue Recovery Reconciliation is responsible for overseeing and organizing the Revenue Recovery Reconciliation specialists to ensure the accuracy of the issue trends and reports identified as a result of the Audit Tracking and Missing Documentation process. In addition, this individual will work closely with the Revenue Recovery Reconciliation Manager, as the point person to supervise Special Projects, direct workflow, quality, and education of staff. This position requires the ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments in an efficient matter.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Reconciliation Team, while adhering to departmental processes, policies, and procedures.

- Identify and escalate to Revenue Recovery Management any critical or ongoing issues identified through the team’s day-to-day work.
- Assist the Management team in coordinating a plan of action to address identified issues and concerns.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on the enhancement of departmental workflows, and SOPs
- Serves as the subject matter expert for assigned areas of supervision
- Evaluate performance, provide employees feedback, and corrective action as needed.
- Train and support new hires through the onboarding process, as well as current staff on new processes
- Participate in Team and Management meetings
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Coding Certification or equivalent experience with plans to get certification within 1 year is required (CPC or CCS-P preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Billing experience
- Knowledge of payer policies and CMS guidelines
- Experience with medical billing software (GE Group Management, Medsuite, and Athena preferred),
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Must be capable of working independently, but effectively as an integral part of the team.
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
- Communicate interdepartmentally, both verbally and in written text.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous Supervisory experience preferred
- Previous Anesthesia billing experience preferred
