A Blessing of Hope Family Services is seeking a Family Support Specialist to conduct family services based on a case plan provided by the Department of Health and Human Services, Child and Family Services division. The goal is to prevent abuse and neglect, strengthen families, and assist in making sure more families are reunified! We will pay you $19-21 an hour depending on your experience, give you 50 cent mileage reimbursement, and pay you drive time!

As a Family Support Specialist, you will produce a minimum of 10-15 hours if part-time, an at least 30-40 hours for Full-Time.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to transport kids to and from visitation sessions with parents or drive to meet parents for Family Support coaching sessions.

Must be able to effectively document visits and be able to build rapport with families.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a human services-related field or enrolled in college and within 2 semesters of completing a BS degree in a human services-related field. Or have an associate degree and two years of human service experience. Or, applicants with no degree, but at least two years of human services or working with kids in any capacity.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Clear criminal history and no more than three points assessed on driving record.

Be a clear writer (for documentation purposes) and have solid communication skills, via phone and email.

Must have a reliable vehicle with valid insurance.

Job Types: Part-time

Salary: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour based on experience

Monday through Friday, Evenings, Weekends

This position does require evenings and weekend availability.
