We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the surgical team in preparing the operating room, arranging the equipment, and helping with surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.

Surgical Technician Position Details:

• Immediate openings

• Location: Kirkland, WA

• Shift & Schedule: 8 hours/shift, 40 hours/week (except for orientation week)

• Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by sterilizing equipment and arranging surgical instruments.

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by handing them the necessary instruments and supplies.

• Monitor patients during surgery, including their vital signs and any changes in their condition.

• Maintain and handle surgical equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order.

• Keep accurate records of surgical procedures, equipment used, and patient information.

• Work with the surgical team to ensure that the patient receives the best possible care.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.

• Current BLS certification

• Two (2) positive work references

• Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.

Desired for the position:

• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification

• 1 year as an Operating Room Technician Current
