Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
The Labor & Deliver (L&D) Operating Room Technician is responsible for maintaining the L&D operating
rooms, creating and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures, assisting with maintaining the
environment and equipment in L&D, entering surgical data from the perioperative report into the electronic
record, and completing patient charges for surgical patients.

Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Graduate from surgical technologist school; or one (1) year of previous surgical technician experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to report to site within 30 minutes if on-call
Preferred:
- Operating Room Technician (ORT) Certification
- Previous hospital experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
