Job Summary:
Under general administrative direction of the Information Systems (IS) Director, the Systems Administrator will manage solutions, provision new servers based on requirements, and document current and new environments for Bartlett Regional Hospital.
What You Will Do:
- Designs, implements, and integrates new hardware, configurations, software, and services and adheres to IT design and operational criteria and standards.
- Ensures that all server devices/systems function at optimal levels.
- Ensures the overall security readiness of data center systems.
- Provides support for hardware and software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment.
- Develops processes and procedures as they pertain to the operation, administration, maintenance and provisioning of server systems.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of antivirus, backups, patching, and other administrative tasks.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with major course-work in computer science, information systems, business administration or a closely related field.
- Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in systems administration and/or systems analysis and computer programming.
- Note: Preferred candidate will have experience in computer hardware, project management, network architecture and design principles, Cisco/Microsoft systems, and TCPIP/DNS/DHCP/SNMP/SMTP protocols.
- Certification(s): MCSE, CompTIA Network + and/or CCNA preferred.
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
