Talent Acquisition Specialist – Poole – Salary £45,000 DOE

Our client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. As part of the Group People team, you will be working with the hiring managers to use a range of techniques to successfully fill vacancies within the company and build a high quality team to deliver on the workforce plan. Ideally, you will be results driven and have a commitment in finding high quality talent and providing a consistent candidate experience.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm equating to 37.5 in total. This will be a hybrid working pattern requiring attendance to the Poole office once per week.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve all talent acquisition channels, such as networks, tools and systems, to attract the best candidates
  • Apply sourcing tactics into the process to build a pipeline for potential applicants
  • Use the groups workforce plan to ensure all staffing needs are met
  • Create a database with strong candidates who have a specialist skillset suited to the company
  • Ensure the quarterly and annual hiring needs for the company are met by working closely with the hiring managers
  • Proactively network and market job opportunities to build pipelines of qualified candidates
  • Deliver a first-class hiring experience for candidates and the hiring manager
  • Develop a trusted relationship with the business and become an entrusted recruiter
  • Work with the team to manage an efficient recruitment process from start to finish
  • Use all recruitment tools on hand to fulfil roles and engage with candidates
  • Use a hiring plan to analyse requirements for the candidate and job role to meet needs and find matches
  • Work within the government regulations relating to recruitment regulations
  • Liaise with outside agencies for roles which cannot be filled
  • Build and maintain strong relations with candidates
  • Represent the company at external recruitment events

Skills & experience required:

  • 2 years plus in a successful talent acquisition role
  • Good understanding of a recruitment talent pipeline
  • Ability to use social media, CV databases and professional networks to source talent
  • Some experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to source candidates
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Experience working within a people team where talent and people colleagues collaborate on projects
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in human resources management or similar field
