About the Role
As a Tank Farm Operator within our dedicated team at Marshalls Road you’ll play a pivotal role in the supply process and will coordinate and control the processing of all tanker movements on site to guarantee constant supply of the highest quality finished product to the production line.
You’ll support a range of activities at the site including maintaining accurate supply of beer to the processing lines, ensuring timescales are kept to and completing pre-use inspections and checks on vehicles.
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets including quality, hygiene, waste and efficiency.
For this role you will be required to work on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off (2x12hr days followed by 2x12hr nights)
About You
We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems.
You’ll have the aim to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.
You’ll have a solid understanding of SCADA/SETCIM or other process control systems.
For this role you will ideally have experience working in a production environment, and have demonstrable knowledge of Quality Assurance, Health and Safety legislation (IOSH) and environmental risk principles.
It'd be beneficial if you had a knowledge of working in the brewing and packaging industry, alongside a familiarity with SAP.
Please note that due to the nature of this role candidates must be of the age that allows them to drive fleet vehicles and hold a full clean driving licence is vital.
It’d be great if you had experience operating a shunter or HGV goods vehicle.
