Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Research and analyze tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax planning opportunities.
• Assist clients with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through timely and effective communication.
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive tax services to clients.
• Stay current on tax law changes and updates, and communicate their implications to clients and team members.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients in various industries.
• Assist with the preparation of tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures.
• Support internal tax training and development initiatives for team members.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of firm tax policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, tax preparation software, and research tools.
