Responsibilities:
Team Kaiju seeks a talented UX Director who can help us strategically build our AAA UX plan on our upcoming FPS title. Functions of this role include (but are not limited to): identifying and troubleshooting player friction, communicating strategic changes to your peers via data, playtests, and presentations, and being hands-on to match our aesthetics to the design execution.

Help create the next great community of players that connect across borders, backgrounds, and cultures.• Develop, research, analyze, and enhance front-end (out-of-game) player experience (e.g. menus / game flow) for products • Develop, research, analyze, and enhance product designs, features, and gameplay, including HUD (signs / feedback) • Work closely with directors to ensure UI is consistent with aesthetic, gameplay, and business goals • Hire, direct, and supervise a team of UI/UX talent in the design process, including user research, concept development, and working with developers based on broad and conceptual ideas. • Stay relevant with current and trending technologies and develop solutions to better engage with users • Give and solicit feedback from team members in order to continually raise the bar for quality • Incorporate user research and usability testing to develop product solutions
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of professional AAA game development experience in art, design or as a creative lead • A portfolio of previous UX work that demonstrates strong creative and analytical skills • A team player who knows how to get the best out of everyone on all projects (not just within the limited field of UX) • An ability to work independently without close supervision while being able to manage and inspire others • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Location State(s)
The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $121,200 to $222,200 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.

Employees are also able eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) plan, accrue from 15 up to 25 days of vacation leave per year, up to 10 paid holidays per year, 2 floating holidays and accrue up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Your benefits eligibility requirement will be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
