SUMMARY
The Technical Coordinator function is to be responsible for all soccer training matters associated with Partner Association and the Revolution Academy in terms of player and team development and program management and administration. You will oversee the Player Development and Coach Education programs for the Partner Association in addition to other Revolution Academy programs. In addition to this you may educate other Revolution Academy coaches and staff members up to the level the program has been developed and ensure the program is fulfilled. You will be responsible for liaising with the Director of the Revolution Academy Partnerships to ensure Partner Association expectations are met and exceeded.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide training for travel teams, pre travel program, intramural program and the summer recreation program.
Organize and assist in the development of Evaluation Weeks and Try-out programs.
Implement the Revolution Academy structured coaching guides for each age group.
Ensuring consistency for all players at each stage of a player’s development.
Maintaining ongoing education courses for all volunteer coaches.
Establishing Revolution Team Training Academies with the Partner Association teams throughout the year.
Coach Academy teams within the Partner Association teams throughout the year.
Developing Skills Academies in the Partner Association, during the spring and summer months.
Managing duties in all additional Revolution Academy Programs, including but not limited to Elite Player Programs , Skills Academies in addition to new player development initiatives.
Special projects and assignments as business dictates

- Revolution Academy coaching staff based in the Partner Association Program
- Elite Training Program Staff Coaches
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- USSF C Licensed Coach / NSCAA Advanced National Diploma
- FA/USSF Licensed Coach
- 5 Years of Coaching in the Area of Player Development
- NSCAA / International Equivalent Coach
- Strong Leadership qualities
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Ability to Lead and Educate
- Effective Communication Skills and Ability to Multi-Task
- Attention to Detail
- Self-Motivated and Ability to Multi-Task
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment
- The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
