Technical Support Specialist
Youngsville, NC
Mon-Fri; 8:30AM-5:30PM
$18-$25/hour
Do you have experience with 12-volt systems, electrical, lighting or automotive? If so, this might just be the perfect opportunity.
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with automotive, motorcycle, watercraft, and ATV electrical and lighting installations, primarily motorcycle lighting. This position will also maintain a knowledgebase and help customers on the phone and email.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide Tech Support with technical questions on our support que through phone and email
- Empathetically perform customer support through listening, diagnosing, and repairing their devices
- Updating of technical documentation related to installation, fitment, knowledgebase, etc.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to answer a high volume of calls and emails daily - Patience and listening skills
- Ability to read and/or write technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc.
- Experience with low-voltage test equipment
- Time-management skills
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Technical training, associate degree, or 3+ years of experience in automotive or motorcycle industry
- Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to relocate to Youngsville, NC or surrounding area
