The candidate may be required to perform a wide variety of tasks related to the incoming, expediting and outgoing of program and facility materials and equipment. Daily responsibilities will include receiving, picking, and shipping orders throughout the warehouse and maintaining the warehouse in an orderly fashion to ensure that warehouse cleanliness is maintained. You may include validating incoming material against a packing list with the ability to legibly notate all discrepancies and accurately input data into the facility asset management system. Candidate may be required to support other logistics functions i.e., packaging, inventory support, material expediting, kitting, and using material handling equipment. This role will also require the use of material handling equipment, screw guns, strapping machines, etc. Candidate must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to focus on the task at hand. Must be willing to work overtime when required.

Required Skills:

Previous experience in Logistics related activities

Operation of Warehouse Material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc…)

Able to obtain forklift certification

Able to lift 25 lbs.

Computer proficient

Good Communication skills and the ability to function in a team environment

Ability to work with general supervision

Extremely detail oriented

Prior safety knowledge

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS)

Knowledge of PRISM

Required Clearance:

Ability to obtain clearance.

Required Education:

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree(or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
