The Notre Dame Sports Nutrition team is accepting applications for a part-time summer Sports Nutrition Temp Worker. Under the direction of the sports dietitians, the temp will gain experience working in the collegiate nutrition setting and assist the Nutrition Department.
The temp worker will work varying hours each week including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. The temp position is intended to span the entire summer from June 5th-August 20th with the option to continue into the fall. This is an hourly paid position offering $15/hour for 20-35 hours/week. Benefits are NOT included.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities fall under foodservice and nutrition. Duties include but are not limited to: Helping with operations, stocking, and cleaning of major fueling spaces. Assisting in the everyday management and inventory of all foods, fluids, and products in the fueling stations and storage areas. Helping with all sports practice and lift needs (includes making snacks, smoothies and setting up snack carts/boxes) Assisting with educational materials as needed. Creating materials for social media and handouts.

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and maintain professionalism. Ability to work as part of a team and possess a friendly demeanor. A strong interest in sports nutrition.
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Ability to work a non-traditional work week; including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience in a sports nutrition related field is preferable. Some experience in a food service related field is preferable
