Job description
A temporary Finance Assistant required to support finance team based at Oxford Science Park. Initially the project will be for 5 months to support the transition of a new credit card system. This is a full-time position and a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing business.
As Administrative Assistant duties include:
- Assisting in the transition of all staff corporate credit cards to the new card provider
- Responsible for fielding queries from staff in setting up their new cards
- Liaising with the external card providers as required to resolve any technological or practical issues
- Assisting in the reconciliation of expenses from cards
- Communication with employees to ensure cards are used appropriately under the expenses policy
- Reviewing the timeliness of receipts being provided for expenditure and flagging any issues
- Preparing financial journals to support reconciliations as required
- Providing other administrative support to the finance team as and when required
Experience required:
- High attention to detail
- Effective communicator
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Problem solver and ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to present data effectively to senior management
