Make your mark as a Tender Manager for Boskalis Subsea Services based in Aberdeen! We are expanding our Tender department due to a number of reasons: a combination of growth in the market, increasment of the vessel fleet and also we are expanding our service offering.

In this role, you manage allocated tenders in accordance with the tender process, ensuring a robust technical, commercial and risk assessed solution is delivered according our client requirements, giving us the highest chance of success.

Your main responsibilities as a Tender Manager

• Compiling a complete, competitive, accurate and feasible offer with well-organised offer documentation & delivering the tender within the agreed time frame, tender budget and within the agreed Boskalis processes
• Assisting with negotiating, drafting and closing contracts in accordance with commercial and legal procedures and guidelines
• Build and maintain contacts with the external parties involved, investigate client demand and respond to signals from clients and stakeholders
• Supporting the technical team in delivering the best technical and risk assessed solution and determine the cost-price budget, planning and risk analysis
• Supporting the Commercial Manager and/or Business Unit Management in formulating the strategy-to-win then executing and implementing this

Your qualities
You can make your mark as a Tender Manager if you have:

• Educated to degree level, preferably with a Law, Business or Quantity Surveying qualification
• Considerable work experience, preferably within the Subsea IRM, Construction or Decommissioning or Marine industries
• Sound contractual knowledge and analytical skills
• Experience of tendering or project execution including estimating, qualification of contract and commercial documentation, negotiating, cost forecasting and reporting
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work using own initiative and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to effectively manage own workload, and work within given timescales (both internal and external), ensuring project requirements are met

• Fulltime/ part-time job: The position of Tender Manager is a fulltime job (35 hours per week)
• Where you will work: You will be based in the Aberdeen office. At Boskalis, we have a hybrid working policy in place: three days in the Aberdeen office, two days from home, as well as flexible working hours.
