Currently, we are looking for a part-time sales associate for our Ponce City Market location. Ideally, a candidate would be available to work 20-25 hours or 3-4 days per week. We are offering $15 per hour and we work with a life balance schedule in mind. Rhen's Nest Toy Shop offers a 30% discount to all team members, we pay for team member on-site parking and the opportunity to have fun engagement experiences with customers in the shop.

What does the job of Toy Salesperson entail at Rhen's Nest?

Fun! We are looking for a special person that likes to connect with people and enjoy playing with toys! Being around kids and families and engaging with them is part of the job, so we are seeking vibrant personalities to match our fun-loving environment.

Key Expectations for our team:

• Able to work 20+ hours per week. Flexibility with day, afternoon, evening shifts is needed to cover those hours and at least one weekend shift availability is a must.
• Prior retail experience is appreciated. Rhen’s Nest believes in hiring long-term employees; our ideal candidate will have a work history and resume that reflects this as well.
• Assists customers in selecting merchandise, while providing in-depth information about the product. We do not up-sale but we do provide an amazing customer service experience. Being comfortable with customer engagement on the sales floor is a must!
• Completes customer sales transactions (cash, credit, debit, etc.). Assists with customer service inquiries and online orders.
• Maintains store appearance, following neat visual standards, and assists in processing and replenishing merchandise.
• Helps to enhance a team environment by respecting co-workers. We do not work on commission. No sales competition between team members. Just teamwork, customer engagement and fun!
• Adheres to Rhen's Nest brand values, standard Sales Associate competencies, and best practices of corporate culture.
• Adheres to company policy and procedures relating to inventory control.
• Must be a self-motivated problem solver with an uplifting disposition, positive outlook, and enthusiasm for helping others.
• Must be reliable in shift schedule attendance.
• Must be able to stand for a 6-7 hour shift and lift boxes up to 50lbs, if required.

Other job duties required will be arranged by store management as needed.
