Job description

First Aid Barricade LLC is seeking a skilled Traffic Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a barricade truck to various job sites, setting up and taking down traffic control devices such as cones, signs, barricades, and plates. The position is full-time with potential for overtime and requires occasional work on weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a barricade truck and drive to different job sites each day
• Set up and take down traffic control devices including cones, signs, barricades, and plates
• Ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians by setting up safety barriers and controlling access to work areas
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• Communicate with supervisors and co-workers regarding job progress and potential issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from the show up yard
• Traffic control experience is a plus, but experience in a similar industry will be considered
• Ability to work in hot weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

Compensation:

• Starting pay for this position is $16 - $22 hourly depending on experience.

• Apache Junction, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Driving: 3 years (Preferred)
• Traffic Control: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
