Vero Health Center is currently hiring for a full-time Traveling Massage Therapist to provide short chair massages and promote our business at various events in the West Des Moines, IA area. This massage therapy position earns a competitive wage of up to $80/hour.

DAY-TO-DAY

As an Traveling Massage Therapist, you have the rewarding job of helping hardworking people relax in the middle of their busy days. You travel locally to deliver therapeutic services at a variety of scheduled events. Businesses, organizations, and schools book you to give 5- to 10-minute massages to their team members.

You set up your chair onsite, then greet each individual warmly and ensure they're comfortable. While you work, you briefly inquire about any symptoms or muscle pain the person is experiencing. You skillfully communicate what you discover during the treatment, highlighting specific trigger points. Persuasive without being pushy, you explain the benefits of scheduling an in-depth evaluation at our office so they can receive more advanced care. At the end of the day, you collect payment from the event organizer. You find great satisfaction in demonstrating the transformative power of massage therapy!

OUR OFFICE HOURS

Our office hours are Monday and Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Tuesday hours will rotate between the early shift (7:00 am - 9:00 am) and the later shift (4:00 pm - 6:00 pm), Wednesday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Friday 7:00 am - 2:00 pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
