Overview:
JOB SUMMARY: Develops and implements training procedures to maximize personal and professional development for all plant employees. Provides various human resources functions to support the Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Identifies and evaluates training needs, developing practices and programs to support job performance and personal development. (20%)
  • Processes instructor-led training courses in learning management system (LMS) (including Alchemy Creator, Alchemy Manager, LinkedIn Learning, and outside vendors as appropriate) to ensure auditability, responsiveness, accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness. (20%)
  • Provides assistance to plant personnel to improve safety, job performance, and growth of all employees. (15%)
  • Investigates and reports on identified training gaps as needed. (10%)
  • Reviews division compliance and recommends improvements to benefit overall employee engagement, health and safety. (10%)
  • Develops, plans, and conducts training programs to ensure understanding of and compliance with company policies and procedures. (10%)
  • Investigates and responds to employee and supervisor/manager complaints to provide high quality internal customer service. (10%)
  • Attends and participates in department or divisional meetings. (5%)
  • Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development or related field from an accredited college or university

Experience:
3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing safety and/or human resources.
