Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Calculate all roof material requirements • Provide a quotation to the customer • Visit the site to ensure the plans are complete and accurate • Ensure that the builder is building according to the plan • Finalise the estimating • Finalise the roof truss plan for manufacturing • Obtaining a plan from the customer / store and ensuring that all relevant details are obtained and correct • Liaising with the Plant Manager and / Truss Foreman regarding manufacturing and delivery • Overseeing the manufacturing of the trusses • Completing related administration and invoicing • Submitting monthly reports to Plant Manager / JV Operator • To uphold and promote the company values and culture
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Matric/Grade 12 • 3 years’ experience in the roof truss industry • Mitek Intermediate 20/20 certificate • Technical Qualification or Diploma (Quantity Surveying) advantageous • Thorough knowledge of the Mitek system
