PDQ Staffing Irving is seeking an Upholsterer to work in a great clean environment near the Irving/West Dallas area.one of the most respected and iconic names in the exclusively to-the-trade, luxury home furnishings, textiles and accessories market. Shift:
Monday - Friday
- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Measure, cut and sew new cover materials using patterns and following sketches or design specifications
- Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, rolled fiber, and foam padding to form smooth surfaces
- Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glues, staples, or nails
- Conduct quality checks on completed orders
- Must have 1-year minimum of upholstery experience
- Able to create and follow patterns
- Sewing experience required
- Must know how to nail, glue, and stretch fabric into place
- Experience installing upholstery nail heads
- Capable of reading a tape measure
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and dependable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to stand all day
