Job Summary

Lakeview Veterinary Clinic is a busy 7-doctor practice seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We strive to provide quality care to our patients in both our main clinic (seeing cats and dogs), and our feline-only Cat Annex located right next door. In these current times, we continue to adapt to changing protocols as we prioritize the health and safety of our staff and clients.

Our full-time staff members enjoy a consistent schedule, working 30-40 hours per week, which allows for good work-life balance and flexibility, as well as paid time off and paid holidays.

-Compensation based on experience, $500 sign on bonus offered.

Our assistants play a vital role in providing excellent patient and client care.

Our ideal candidate will be proficient in the following areas:

Client Communication & Education

Animal Restraint

Assisting Veterinarians with Appointments

Medical Record keeping

Utilizing digital x-ray machine to perform radiographs

Preparing medications

In-clinic Patient Care

Reception duties

Required Qualifications

Some Veterinary Clinic experience
