If so, we are looking for you! We are a new and growing veterinary practice in Rock Hill, SC, and currently accepting applications for a part-time/full-time experienced veterinary assistant or LVT. Our Veterinary Technicians and Assistants are a vital part of our team.
Typical duties include:
- Exam Rooms
- Client Education
- Client Communication
- Assessing the needs of the patient
- Direct patient care
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Venipuncture
- Surgical assistance
- Radiography
- ICU monitoring and hospitalization
- In-house laboratory and pharmacy
Successful applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a patient demeanor in dealing with the public, displaying a "people person" attitude. Our veterinary technicians and assistants must be able to work evenings and weekends and are expected to master a certain amount of medical knowledge, as well as be able to answer client questions and communicate patient needs.
Applicants must be able to perform well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 1-year of veterinary technician or assistant experience is required. Licensure is preferred but not required as we are hiring for both veterinary technicians and assistants. Experience:
- Veterinary Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary Assistant: 3 years (Preferred)
