Position Summary: This position is responsible for the identification and acquisition of new business opportunities for GB’s Carrier Practice business segment. Target markets for sales pursuit include insurance carriers, program administrators, managing general agents (MGAs) and captive managers. Requisite experience includes; success selling a product or service into the target markets listed above, in-depth knowledge of the commercial property and casualty marketplace and a willingness to travel, network and participate in industry events and activities. Duties include but are not limited to: Implement marketing strategies to develop a strong network of prospective clients Develop leads via face-to-face meetings, telephonically and industry event engagement Deal architecture including; pricing, staffing, implementation, prospect presentation development and delivery Participate in client stewardship meetings and annual renewal process Maintain knowledge of Gallagher Bassett products and services and best deployment thereof to the benefit of client/prospect Effectively work with members of the cross-functional team including; Client Services, Operations, Finance, Marketing and IT Track marketing efforts via the effective utilization of the Sales Force platform Qualifications: Required: Bachelors Degree One or more years related TPA insurance experience Strong working knowledge of potential clients and the insurance brokerage business Desired: 7 or more years related sales experience in the insurance industry Willingness to travel 50% of working days Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint Professional designation such as CIC, CEBS, CPCU, or ARM Experience in the commercial claims administration TPA industry Work Traits: Act independently with minimal direction Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
